Beginning Meditation Workshop
based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program

- Have you been exploring and experimenting with a meditation practice on your own yet struggle to really establish a regular practice?
- Have you had a regular practice in the past yet want to deepen this practice with some new perspectives on meditation and to cultivate a new commitment to your practice?
Join me for a 6-week Beginning Meditation Workshop based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program. In this workshop we will:
- Learn 5 different meditation techniques
- Discuss and practice the Attitudes of Mindfulness
- Explore the benefits formal meditation and discuss the impact on mindfulness in everyday life
- Practice formal meditation techniques as well as pausing frequently throughout the day (informal mindfulness)
- Create structure and accountability for your home meditation practice
